Christina McDaniel, M.Ed
Central Texas public educator improving student learning through Campus & District Instructional Leadership.
As a 20 year veteran Texas educator, 5 of those years serving as a campus administrator, I have the expertise necessary to provide Texas students with the effective instruction necessary to see academic growth.
At the core of my leadership vision is a belief that when you strategically staff the school with quality educators and arm them with high quality instructional materials, they will have the tools necessary to monitor student progress, responding to the needs of all learners.

I have worked closely with teachers teams in Professional Learning Communities to review student data and reflect on instructional practices. For example, I supported our Reading Language Arts teachers when implementing TEA vetted RLA instructional materials. I created a committee to lead a review of the materials, developed and organized professional learning, and provided ongoing walkthrough feedback on the proper implementation of the material. Through this practice we saw growth of our students from a ‘Meets’ score at 55% to a ‘Meets’ score of 80% on the STAAR Reading Assessment.

I have supported effective instruction and implementation of materials in the following leadership roles: Principal , Assistant Principal over Special Programs, Campus Academic Support Specialist, Secondary Dean of Academics, and District ARD Facilitator/Section 504 Coordinator.
My strengths include integrity, passion, communication, and organization. I manage my time well, and clearly communicate the vision and action items to all stakeholders. I have a track record of improving teacher effectiveness and student growth.

My passion lies in improving Texas schools and will strive to provide all students with the opportunities to be positive members of Texas communities and the Texas workforce.
